The aging apartment complexes in the former mill city of Woonsocket, RI are plagued by frequent fires, and what heartening news that comes of them often concerns the heroism of neighbors, firefighters and other first responders. One day in 2013, such a fire presented a heartwarming reunion of a local woman and her missing pooch.
I shot this video using an iPhone 5, recording B-roll and narrating the piece, briefly coaching Anna on speaking above background noise and prompting her to tell the story in her own words. I then edited the piece together using iMovie on a MacBook Air laptop.
